On our way up North yesterday we had to stop on the way for lunch, the nearest place was the Norton Cane Services on the M6 Toll road, it’s a ‘RoadChef’ branded place. The food options were fairly limited, an overpriced restaurant that charged £2.35 for a brew, or ‘The Burger Company’. I like a good burger, I’m happy with a McDonald’s or a Burger King now and then, so this seemed like a good idea.

It wasn’t.

The burger was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen, a meagure slice of processed cheese, tiny little pieces of bacon, and a dollop of ketchup, and a burnt burger.

It tasted of depression.

For a company whose name defines their line of business I was expecting something better, won’t be stopping there again..
