Just after we’d all settled down from the Press Release about the Alton Towers Dungeon, Alton Towers Resort have made another announcement! That’s right the popular CBeebies Land is expanding even more in 2019 with the addition of the Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop ride and Teletubbies Big Band Live Show!
‘Project Hip Hop‘ was actually the Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop ride. James really loves Peter Rabbit on CBeebies, it’s one of his favourites, so I know he’ll love this announcement! From March 23rd. families will be able to experience the new ‘Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop’ ride – featuring the mischievous bunny Peter Rabbit and his friends Benjamin and Lily. Playful Benjamin Bunny has hidden from his friends in Mr McGregor’s garden, and young guests are invited to join Peter and Lily as they explore the garden and solve puzzles to try to uncover his hiding place! Brave explorers are invited to “unleash their inner bunny” and hop high into the sky to see if they can find Benjamin from the top of the ride!
CBeebies Land is one of the most popular areas of Alton Towers Resort, and another ride to soak up the queues is brilliant. Whilst Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop isn’t really a white knuckle ride, little kids REALLY love these Junior Drop Tower rides so it is perfect for CBeebies Land!
Then, in April, the Teletubbies Big Band Live Show will arrive at the ‘Big Fun Showtime’ area of CBeebies Land. The Teletubbies are really popular, especially with the new episodes that are on CBeebies, so I imagine the Teletubbies Big Band Live Show will go down an absolute storm. I’m looking forward to it too, I’ve always wanted a hug from a Teletubby!
The twice-daily performances in “Big Fun Showtime” will see children and families join Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a musical extravaganza, the Teletubbies Big Band Live Show! Ready with their music instruments, the Teletubbies will transport families over the hills and far away to the iconic Teletubbyland, where they’ll get to play along as they enjoy a delightfully interactive music and dance filled performance. Guests will also have the chance to “meet and greet” ’he Teletubbies each day following the performances before they wave Tubby Bye-Bye!
CBeebies Land is a brilliant area of the park, and it’s great to see it expanding and getting a new show. The Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop and Teletubbies Big Band Live Show will definitely keep families happy in 2019!
