Hi! I’m Kip Hakes, I’m a 42-year-old Blogger and Vlogger. I’m married to Vicki – ‘Mrs H’ and I’ve got two children, and a Cavachon called Duggee. We live in the Essex countryside just outside of Colchester. I’ve blogged since 2008, and my blogging subjects include – Parenting, Technology, Reviews, Photography, Rants and Raves and more. I’m Designer of stuff by day, and a total nerd at night.
My blog has grown massively in popularity since I started, I’m working with more and more brands, trying to promote things that my readership will find interesting. I’ve worked with lots of brands over the years, and also was the resident ‘Dad Blogger’ at Emma’s Diary for a while too. This Blog has over 29,000 subscribers.
I’ve appeared on BBC Essex for commentary on Parenting Issues. I’ve been a columnist for The Essex Chronicle, and I’ve written for the Kiddicare Blog as a Daddy Blogger. I was on Channel 4’s The Gadget Man reviewing buggies and I was also featured in Morrisons Magazine reviewing Baby Products.
I’m all over social media, Threads, Instagram, Facebook and You Tube are where you’ll find me the most, and I’m happy with my 8000+ followers, 12,000+ subscribers, 2500+ likers.
