Anyone who uses O2’s data might have noticed they, by default like to compress images for you. This obviously means you use less data, BUT it also means on the iPhone, and high end smartphones, the quality or them can look very shoddy indeed. Especially if you are using your phone as an access point on your laptop!
This, thankfully is easily fixed, all you need to do is go into you access point settings. On my N95 this is Tools > Settings > Connection > Access Points > 02 Mobile Web. Scroll down and alter the ‘User name’ to ‘bypass’ (obviously without the ‘). On the iPhone I think it is Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network. Next time you connect you’ll see all the images as intended. Not a jot of compression in site! SWEET!
