I know many families have little ‘traditions’ at Christmas time, something that has been inherited from Loz is ‘The Present Display’. It’s something that I noticed her doing on our first Christmas together up North, she’d take all her presents and organise them into a display. It’s something she’d been doing since she was a child. The idea is pretty simple, when other relatives would arrive later in the day, they could see all the stuff she’d got.
It doesn’t just have to be Christmas Presents, it happens on Birthdays too, all the presents are neatly organised, and stay that way for a day or so. I usually spoil it with my presents as I’m keen to crack them open and play. It made me smile this year as G happily added her toys onto the display too.
