Just thought I’d update what has happened since I last blogged about the broken buggy. I rang Maclaren yesterday on their Customer Care line (01372) 841820 and was told (rather curtly) that I need to speak to the people we ordered the buggy from – Peppermint. I emailed them explained the issue, and I had a rather prompt response saying they would liaise with Maclaren and someone there would call me back.

This morning I spoke to Maclaren again, and they were most helpful. They didn’t have any replacement seats in stock and as such, wouldn’t be able to send me one for two to three months. Before I had chance to moan he continued to tell me thats as a gesture of goodwill he’d arrange for a brand new 2013 version of the buggy to be sent to us, and a courier would collect the broken one! Wow! How good is that?
