I was invited to the launch of the brand new travel system the Nuna IVVI – it’s soon to be launched in the UK, exclusively through Kiddicare, and I was one of the first few to get my mitts on it.
Designed from Birth until your child is 18kg, the IVVI will accept Nana Car Seats, it has a carry cot option, and then then can be used as foward, or parent facing stroller. It comes in two colours, Safari (Beige) and Caviar (Black).
I’m a total idiot and forgot to write down the retail prices, but if memory serves, the stroller (which includes a rain cover and the adaptors to hold the car seat) is circa £650, and the carry cot attachment is circa £250. It’s obviously not the cheapest travel system you can buy, but, it’s certainly competitively priced for similarly specced / design products (it reminded me of the Joolz Travel System I recently looked at).
It’s jam packed with natty little design elements, I particularly loved the ‘True Flat’ seating position (it has 5 positions in all), and the way you can adjust the height of the shoulder straps with one hand, rather than messing about re-threading them to the next ‘hole’
I also love the fact the shades on the stroller extend right down, to allow your little one to go to sleep without the bright sun beating down on them. The carry cot takes this one step further by adding a Dream Drape to the hood that pops out and covers the carry cot (fixing to the sides with hidden magnets – genius!). It’s also rare for a travel system of this still to allow you to fold it down with the seat still on the base, you can remove it if you wish but it’s good to have the choice!
