I was recently invited to the Superdry : London Collection – Men event to see some of Superdry’s upcoming product. It was a great event, there just seemed to be a lot of pretty people in Superdry clothes, and all the free cocktails you could drink, there was no one there that I knew – so I just awkwardly stood around getting pissed. As you (well I) do.

Today I was emailed some details of the Superdry New Season Jackets and was asked to write about them, I’m definitely not a fashion blogger, I’m a Dad that wears clothes and occasionally swears into the internet. I wasn’t really sure what I should do with this information. I actually really liked all of the Superdry New Season Jackets – they are probably amazing, in fact I’m sure they are!

I asked if there was the possibility of getting a sample of my two favourites to try and wear, and write about, unfortunately all they could offer me was some High Res imagery of the coats. That’s fine, but I can’t really WEAR High Res images, or tell you about the quality or feel of them.

I had to do something, so I thought how you might get the IDEA of how these Jackets look on your average Dad would be if I, through the magic of Photoshop, ‘wore’ them.

So here’s me rocking the Bleecker Street Pea Coat (£169.99)

And I like the Hooded Polar Windjacker (£64.99)

I’m sure they look better for real, than me spending 2 minutes Photoshopping them on – but for now – that’ll have to do! Take a little look at all of their jackets, as well as the new season ones – you can here.

Awesome post, well done to you! Shame they didn’t give you a coat in a goody bag either 🙁

Superdry sponsored you to write a post for them, and you Photoshopped your face onto their images?!! Absolutely genius! We’re Superdry fans here – loadsa colour and bold slogans are part of my comfy-wardrobe essentials. Mr Chick also rocks Superdry – and he’s a dad that wears clothes too. I think you should do more fashion posts.

(Popped over after Vicki of Honest Mum mentioned you in her recent post and reminded me of your blog).
