You might not know it, but WhatsApp have been testing out Voice Calling for a select group of users for a few months now. They’ve just started rolling it out for everyone – the update is slowly pushing out to everyone via the Google Play Store – but if you’re feeling a bit impatient – you can get Voice Calling on WhatsApp RIGHT NOW.
Just visit the WhatsApp website on your phone and download it – or scroll down – I’ve linked to the .apk file.
If you restart your phone, you’ll have a slightly different looking WhatsApp experience with some new tabs across the top – like below
Sadly – it’s not available to iPhone users yet, so you’re stuck for now if you use WhatsApp via that.
