4. Test, test, test!

Get the wiring all fixed into the car and test it works. As I said earlier, these feeds are ignition live, so make sure the ignition is live, and test each of the feeds. You should have 12-14v between your feeds and ground. Once you’re happy the wiring is good. It’s time to get the armrest in.
5. Fit the armrest.
You need to screw the black mounting plate in first. The O Ring for your ground should be sandwiched between the chassis and the black mounting plate. Just for a final sanity check, plug in the armrest to your feeds and check it’s working. Balance it across the drivers and passenger seat. If it’s all working, turn it round and lower it into place. It’s a bit fiddly, you’ll have to hold back the seat sides to allow it to drop down. It’s pretty self explanatory. Screwing it into place is a bit tricky, it’s best to slide the seats around to get best access.
6. Finish up!
There you go – it’s in! Check it’s all functioning, and when you’re happy press in the side plastic trims into place. Then slide the armrest right back and slide the plastic cover that conceals the OBD port into place.
