This is a VERY festive vlog – Merry Christmas! However, it’s a little bit different from a regular vlog – normally as soon as it’s filmed I rush and get it sliced down and edited as soon as possible. This was actually filmed in December 2017 – that’s right – a YEAR AGO! You see, we went to Alton Towers – Santa’s Sleepover just before Christmas last year. By the time I’d got round to editing, Christmas would have been over, and the festive fun would have felt a little late. So.. it’s sat waiting for this Christmas to arrive.
This vlog sees us visit a VERY quiet theme park to enjoy the selection of rides that were open, a bit of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ pantomime action and then back to the Smiler Room in the Alton Towers Hotel, which was BLOODY AWESOME. We had a festive dinner, and then the following day a Breakfast with Santa. The event was topped off with a game of Extraordinary Golf. We had a brilliant time at the Santa’s Sleepover event, the Pantomime and Breakfast with Santa was absolutely delightful. The service at meal times wasn’t brilliant, but James had the best time, and that’s all that matters.
If you’re super quick, you could book yourself a Santa’s Sleepover in 2018 – if not, go in 2019!
