This super simple Katsu Curry is a regular on the Hakes family meal roster. With us being veggies, we quite often serve it with Quorn Crispy Nuggets – they work brilliantly. Also if you want to make it Vegan, Waitrose do some BRILLIANT Crisp-Crumbed Seitan Slices.
You could breadcrumb some Aubergine or Sweet Potato, but that makes it less of a Simple Katsu Curry if you’re having to mess around. Heck, I’m sure this could work with basic bitch Chicken Nuggets too! You’ll have to let me know in the comments! Don’t forget, if you would like to try some Japanese curry, please check out Sugoi Mart – a Japanese online store shipping all over the world – and their curry selection.
Don’t forget – this recipe is for the curry sauce, you can decide what you serve with it. Some simple boiled rice works a treat!
