Review – Colchester Zoo

The lovely people at MoneySupermarket.com sent us Money-off vouchers for a day out at Colchester Zoo. I’ve only been there a handful of times, and the last time was about four and a half years ago! I do keep meaning to visit and see how it’s changed, thankfully yesterday we piled into the car off to Colchester to have a look around.

Instead of writing millions of words, I decided to let G do the talking and put it together in a little ‘video review’ (above). We had a lovely day trekking around the Zoo, it’s nice to see some new enclosures and areas being developed for the animals too! I think my only real complaint is there are a real lack of ‘big maps’ dotted around the park, the wayfaring seems to rely on signposts pointing you in vague directions. Also I think the restaurant and toilet areas could do with a bit of a refresh, I’m probably being slightly critical on the last point – everything is clean and functional, just a spot of modernising is required!
