Regular readers will know Me, G and J LOVE LEGOLAND Windsor Resort – In fact – I said that it was definitely 2014’s BEST Family Day Out – I’m itching to head back there when the park opens on the 13th March to see what they have on offer for the 2015 Season.
BUT – For those with kids aged 6-10 years old, you could get an opportunity to visit the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort a WEEK before the public can, but in return they’ll have to work for it!
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have created FIVE different jobs in the fantastic Hotel just for little ones – these are :
HEAD OF FUN
The Head of Fun will be responsible for ensuring everything is as FUN as it should be! Duties will include
testing the secret whoopee cushion, making sure all the buttons on the giant LEGO toy box mobile are in full working order and inspecting all play features. They will also direct the evening entertainments acting as MC and DJ-ing in the evening.
MIXOLOGIST
The Hotel Mixologist will be called upon to mix up some irresistible ice cream toppings for dessert, invent some taste tangling smoothies for breakfast and a whizz banging new mocktail for the evening.
DIRECTOR OF BED BOUNCE
This role is all about the bounce… and much more. Not only will the Director of Bed Bounce be called upon to ‘spot bounce’ beds, they’ll also be responsible for ensuring all is as it should be in every room. Is there a LEGO prize in every safe? Does the LEGO channel work on the TV? Is there enough LEGO to play with?
OFFICIAL SPLASH TESTER
As Official Splash Tester, the successful candidate will be called upon to undertake a series of tests in the LEGO Pirates themed Splash Pool. As well as working with the Pool team to ensure optimum temperature and water levels they will be required to test the water jets, all play features and slides.
CHIEF BRICK INSPECTOR
There are thousands of individual LEGO bricks at the hotel so this is a BIG job! Duties will include ensuring there is enough LEGO in the play pit, helping judge the daily model making competition, selecting new Minifigures to go in the Minifigure wall at reception and spot ‘brick-testing’ around the hotel to ensure all models are in top- brick shape.
G is GUTTED that at the ripe old age of 11, she’s not allowed to enter, so much so she suggested we ‘cheat’..
Still – if you think your little ones are suitable for the five exciting roles, then look at the website HERE to find out more and apply for the positions.
It’s ALSO worth noting that only those with Merlin Annual Passes, and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Annual Passes can apply for the positions.
What a great idea! What amazing jobs to have – my husband would love one of those, although he’ll be gutted he’s far to old!
