2 – Adele – Someone Like You

I remember the first time I heard ‘Someone Like You’ on Adele’s 2011 Album ’21’, I LOVED it, it was so beautiful and powerful, I knew it would be an instant hit. It was.

Bubbling around in the mid 40’s of the UK Singles chart it blew up to gigantic proportions after Adele’s tearful rendition at the 2011 Brit Awards. Someone Like You was stuck on repeat on every radio station and music channel across the land, and even around the world. A beautiful song that I’d die happily never hearing again.

    I’m so with you on the Clean Bandit track. I had it on a running playlist earlier in the year and eventually couldn’t listen to it without thinking about ready meals (kind of annoying when I was trying to exercise). The Toploader one makes me think of Jamie Oliver for some reason. Was it in an ad of his or a TV prog he did? All very annoying anyway.
