I really like the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel, it’s one of the best theme park hotels in the UK. The issue is – it’s SO popular – in peak season it’s nigh on impossible to get a room.
The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel is the answer to the problem.
It’s being built next door to the hotel and due to open on 1st July 2017.
The 61 room hotel has rooms of two themes, Knights and Wizards, both have separate sleeping areas for adults and kids. The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel will bring to life an enchanted world of brave knights and princesses, wily wizards and jolly jesters. There will be a variety of models across the lobby overlooked by a giant LEGO Wizard, casting LEGO magic with his wand.
Dining and Entertainment
Hotel guests will able to dine in the à la carte Tournament Tavern Restaurant which continues the Medieval theme. Little ones will enjoy the indoor Jester’s Play area and outdoor Playground.
Those staying in the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel can enjoy the entertainment and facilities in the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel. As well early entry to the park, fast track access on selected rides, free refillable drink vessels, unique LEGO gifts and collectables.
How much will it cost?
Prices start from £572 for a family room (2 adults /2 children) including breakfast, park tickets for two days and the benefits above. Whilst it sounds expensive (it is!), the bundled tickets and benefits soon add up. In peak season the park is very busy, and having two days to explore is perfect.
Booking opens in mid October – and you can do that right here.
Be part of the Hotel
Children are being given the exclusive chance to design a LEGO model to take a starring place in the new hotel. All they have to do is submit a drawing or photo of a small scale model fit for an enchanted castle. The winning design will be brought to life in a LEGO model up to 6ft in size. Open to children aged 2-16; the winner will be invited to put the last brick in their model. Plus, with their family, will be one of the first to stay at the new hotel in July.
