Chessington World of Adventures Resort have announced their annual ‘Howloween’ event for 2016. Running between the 21st – 31st of October, the Chessington Howloween 2016 offers tricks and treats for all the family! Thrills, howls and family fun await the bravest of guests, with jumps and goosebumps and rides in the dark around every corner. The Resort will be open until 8pm. Chessington sees the return of their two hair-raising Howl’o’ween attractions – the ‘Curse of the Lost Tomb’ plus ‘Trick or Treat Wood’ for courageous little explorers. As well as rides in the dark and spooky animal shows.
Enter the Lost Tomb
The Curse of the Lost Tomb maze returns and is sure to get toes tingling and hearts beating once again. Explorers are encouraged to delve into the secret lost tomb of Genghis Khan, which is full of mystery and riddles. Meet an intriguing archaeologist in possession of a cryptic map, as you venture deeper and deeper into the tomb. Helping unveil the mystery behind this ancient site.
Will all be revealed? Will the cursed tomb claim those who dare to enter? With a ghostly surprise at every turn and live actors – this interactive maze isn’t for the faint hearted! This attraction is aimed at those over 10, it’s a bit too scary for littler ones! This is probably the scariest thing at the Chessington Howloween Event – you have been warned!
If you go down to the woods today… You might be in for a trick!
For those who prefer their scares a little sweeter, the Trick or Treat Wood is the perfect choice. Younger Adventurers must choose which path they’d like to take past the bewitching tree – will it be a tempting treat or a troublesome trick?
Enchanted fairies and ghostly goblins will guide little explorers on their way, with plenty of tricks and treats suitable for families of all ages. This is a super cute little attraction, suitable for all. This is a fabulous part of the Chessington Howloween!
All your favourites – in the dark!
As Autumn is setting it, and the theme park queues close at 8pm – this means you can take on rides in the dark! Take a flight of fright on Vampire to soar through the trees of Transylvania. Enjoy Dragon’s Fury’s spectacular spin underneath the stars, or incur the wrath of Rameses’ Revenge under the dark cloak of night. Amazing!
Chessington have got Early Bird tickets too. With prices starting from just £27.60pp, individuals and families can save over 40% when booking tickets at least five days in advance of visit. Remember guests under the age of 3 get in for free! You can book up here.
Have even MORE fun – with a ‘Spooky Short Break’
You can stay overnight at one of the two Chessington Resort Hotels! With packages starting from just £274.40 per family in the Chessington Safari Hotel. This is including breakfast and two days worth of park tickets! There’s a whole host of entertainment on offer in the Resort Hotels including creepy animal meet and greets, a Halloween Fancy Dress Parade, a Pumpkin Carving Competition, The Rangers Kids Club, a spooky movie club plus lots of other fun Halloween activities for the whole family to enjoy.
I’m hoping to get to the Resort to see what the Chesssington Howloween is like this year – we went last year, and the review is here.
