We had some brilliant news last week – Warwick Castle want to work with us in 2017 as Blogger Ambassadors. Hooray! I’ve NEVER been to Warwick Castle before, so I’m looking forward to getting to know it better. I had no idea just how much stuff they have there. There are 1103 years of history within the ancient Towers and Ramparts and State Rooms.

Then there are the daily shows including the Flight of the Eagles show featuring birds of prey including vultures and eagles soaring over the castle, plus the firing of the Mighty Trebuchet. The Castle also has a number of top interactive attractions such as the Horrible Histories Maze, The Princess Tower, the Kingmaker, and – for the brave adventurers – The Castle Dungeon awaits!

For those wishing to enjoy a mediaeval short-break, year-round accommodation is available within the new Knight’s Village. The Knight’s Village reminds me of the Enchanted Village at Alton Towers, which we LOVED.

Spend the night for less than you’d expect.

If you’re looking for a bargain break at Warwick Castle, they have two-day half term breaks from £47 pppn! Families can enjoy two days at the castle staying in Knight’s Village that offers mediaeval-style accommodation within the grounds of Warwick Castle.

February half-term short breaks (17th – 25th Feb) start from £188 per night based on a maximum of two adults, two children and one infant sharing a Woodland Lodge. The package includes overnight accommodation in a riverside woodland lodge complete with themed evening entertainment such as Knight’s School, breakfast, car parking and two days priority access to Warwick Castle. You can book a trip right here.

As part of our Ambassador role we’ll be taking trips to Warwick Castle, and also taking a look at their exciting ‘War of the Roses’ show. We’ll also be staying in the Knight’s Village at some point – so keep an eye out for a review. I really love the Merlin attractions, and it will be great getting to know this historic castle!
