So, I’ve already had a look at what’s happening at Alton Towers and Thorpe Park in 2017. In this post, I’ll be looking at what’s happening at Warwick Castle in 2017!

We’re Ambassadors for Warwick Castle in 2017 – I’ve never been there before, so I’m looking forward to our first trip in a month or so. We’ll be getting hold of a Family Warwick Castle Annual Pass to use in 2017. These are currently on sale (until 19th March!) so if you hurry you might be able to grab a bargain.

“Enjoy 12 months of jaw-dropping history, magic, myth and adventure with a Warwick Castle Annual Pass from just £21.60!”

A Warwick Castle Annual Pass includes –
– Free entry to Warwick Castle, Grounds and Gardens
– 20% discount on Castle merchandise and gifts
– Exclusive 10% discount on selected themed dining
– Free parking in the Stratford Road Car Park when visiting the Castle

The full list of passes and prices is on the Warwick Castle website here. The only thing not included with the Annual Pass is entry to the Castle Dungeon – that’s £9 per person, should you fancy it!

There are lots of things happening throughout the year at the Castle – the events page is swelling with fun stuff to try.

War of the Roses – Live!

I think the most exciting event is the ‘War of the Roses’ which will be happening 27th May – 4th June and 22nd July – 3rd September –

“It’s 1455 and the House of Lancaster holds the English throne. King Henry VI’s crown is challenged by the House of York. The rival houses clash in battle and the bloody war that ensues was to last over 30 years. Marvel as the legendary War of the Roses unfolds before you!”

This is set to be an epic live action show, packed with lots of stunts, jousting, and special effects. The Game of Thrones fan within me is very much looking forward to seeing this later in the year!

I can’t wait to see what’s happening at Warwick Castle in 2017. I’ll be publishing lots of details of how we find it during our trips this year.

Have you been before? What do you recommend a newbies like us to look at first?!
