It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve written anything on here, and to be honest – it has been! I’m not sure why really, I loved firing my nonsense out into the internet. I think however my ‘outlet’ has changed from written thoughts, to a more visual medium – YouTube! Sometimes though, like this moment right now, I really fancy typing into this little white box!

You might have noticed the blog has changed its look a little bit, I’m binning off the old ‘Hand of Sean’ font on the logo and bringing it in line with my YouTube channel. I want to give the whole site a revamp very soon, but before I do that, I thought I’d bring you all up to date.

There have been a lot of changes since December 2021, we’ve sold the flat and moved out of Earls Colne and got a brand new house a few villages away. This has been incredible because it’s given me the space to actually have a studio – I’ve got a massive room to create stuff. It’s got all my cameras and lights set up and ready to go. When we were in the flat I’d have to get out and pack everything away when I wanted to make a video. On those days when my heart wasn’t really into making content, it would be even harder to get into it because I’d have to faff about with everything. Now I can just film, whenever some mad idea pops into my head everything is there ready to go!

My head is in a good place too – like, the best it’s been for years – I had some therapy in 2020-21 and it’s really helped my head. I’m actually really happy, and more positive than I ever thought I could be. It’s like a huge weight has been lifted and I can just look around me, and smile.

Although, at times it’s been hard to smile – I’ve got an issue with my back which has left me in pain, almost constantly. It’s not nice – and it’s been a struggle fighting to get the doctors to give me medication that actually takes the edge off it all. I *think* we’re nearly there with the pain management. I just have to ride it out for another 5 months or so until I can have an appointment with an Orthopaedic surgeon to get it fixed – hopefully!

This has lead to another change – I’ve got a new car! My lovely little Peugeot 208 which has served us as a family for about 5 years has had to go. The problem was, it’s a three door car – and the doors were BIG – it meant that if I ended up parked in a tight spot, then there was a large amount of contortion to get out of the door. Not ideal with a poorly back! I’m so pleased with my new car – it’s perfect for me!

Anyway, that’s you all roughly updated – thanks so much for reading – I’ll try and not leave it so long next time!
