In just a few days, Thorpe Park Resort will be welcoming guests for Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2024, and I thought I’d let you know what to expect at the Home of Fear, this year! I’ll be completely honest with you, I was a regular at Thorpe Park Fright Nights in years gone by, however, my back issues essentially stopped all that fun. However, I am all booked in and ready to attend Thorpe Park Fright Nights for the first time in FIVE years, and will be bringing you video coverage over on my YouTube Channel, Instagram and TikTok. Before that though, I thought I’d collate all the information together for you, and me too, over here!

When does Thorpe Park Fright Nights run?
Thorpe Park Fright nights runs from 10am – 9pm on the following days –
4th-6th October 2024
11th-13th October 2024
17th October to 3rd November 2024
How much does Thorpe Park Fright Nights Cost?
If you’re planning on attending Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2024, you absolutely should book in advance – it will save you a few quid, and also some dates it’s likely the park will be at capacity, so you won’t actually be able to get in otherwise! If you’re NOT a Merlin Annual Passholder, you can prebook Fright Nights Entry tickets from £36 per person (compared to £66 at the gate). These are just standard tickets, that don’t give you any access to the mazes, you can watch the shows, go through the scare zones, and of course, ride the rides from 10am-9pm.
If you DO want to go through the mazes then you can buy a ticket that gets you entry to the park, rides, scare zones, shows AND the scare mazes and the online prices are from £77 (instead of a £100 walk up price). This particular ticket isn’t a fastrack for the mazes, you’ll have to queue for each one. If you want a timed ticket for mazes to reduce queuing, there’s an additional cost –
Maze One Shots – Single Entry to a Scare Maze of Choice – Hourly Timeslots from 3pm – 8pm on all the mazes. It’s £8 per person if your time slot is in the afternoon (3pm – 5pm) or £10 per person if the time slot is in the evening (6pm – 8pm)
Terrifying Trio Package – Access Stitches, Survival Games and Trailers. You can choose either 3pm – 6pm or 6pm – 9pm timeslots. It’s £24.00 per person for the 3pm-6pm timeslots or £30.00 per person for the 6pm to 9pm timeslots. This package doesn’t give you access to the new maze Dead Beat.
However, if you DO want a timed slot for Dead Beat then you have to get..
Fearsome Four Package – Access Deat Beat, Stitches, Survival Games and Trailers. You can choose either 3pm – 7pm or 5pm – 9pm timeslots. It’s £34.00 per person for the 3pm-7pm timeslots or £38.00 per person for the 5pm to 9pm timeslots.
Annual Pass Holders get 20% off prices on the EARLY time slots – there’s no discount for the later ones. Also Annual Passholders need to ensure they have pre-booked entry to the park – you might have to pay an addition £15 to enter during Thorpe Park Fright Nights if it’s on the exclusion days for your pass level.
What if I don’t like scares, and not planning on going in the mazes?!
I mean, Fright Nights isn’t the best time to visit Thorpe Park if you’re easily scared – there are scare zones, and roaming actors! However, Thorpe Park Resort offer guests who don’t want to be interacted with a ‘No Scare Lanyard’. This special lanyard will cost £5 and can be purchased for £5 from either the Accessibility Kiosk or Guest Services. Lanyards are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be secured ahead of your visit. You have to ensure your ‘No Scare Lanyard’ is visible at all times so the actors can see it. I think this is a nice idea!
What mazes are there?
This is bit is really tricky for me, because, well – normally I’d like to comment on what you can expect in the mazes, however, I’ve really no idea! I’ve never experienced the mazes myself, and I actively avoid spoilers of the mazes too. I am so excited to try them all for the first time – the entertainment team at Thorpe Park is smashing it at the moment, and I am certain they will be epic. So, I’ll be able to offer my opinion when I make my content during Thorpe Park Fright Nights – for now though, here’s what Thorpe Park say about each maze!
Deadbeat

New for 2024! It’s two minutes to midnight, and the clock is ticking. Will you surrender willingly or dance the night away, embracing what may well be your final night on earth? But beware this is no ordinary venue—here, the music doesn’t soothe the soul; it devours it.
Stitches

This sinister scare maze will shatter your perception of innocence and plunge you into your worst nightmare! Will you outwit the clutches of the Toymaker’s wicked creations, or are you destined to become a permanent resident of her collection?
Survival Games

Lost in a labyrinth with no followers to aid your survival, you must fight for your life as you battle through relentless rooms full of atrocious assassins and treacherous traps! With multiple routes to take, will you choose the right path to victory or will it be game over in this gruesome scare maze?
Trailers

Witness the power of film come to life this Halloween at SuperSpark Cinema – a picture house with quite the reputation. From demonic monsters to killer clowns, no fear will go unmissed as you find yourself stuck inside a never-ending loop of terror with no escape!
What else is there?!
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! There’s more, of course there is more! The Crows of Mawkin Meadows Scare Zone returns for Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2024, as well as this there are new shows / scare zones with Lucifer’s Lair and Creature Campus – Looks can Kill. There is also a new ‘IT : The 4D Experience’ in the Sunset Cinema every half hour from 15:00 – 21:00 (that’s rated 15 – so no kids allowed!).

Something else that is being advertised is ‘Hyperia in the Dark’ – it would be pretty awesome if this was a fully ‘lights off’ ride on Hyperia. Some of the elements in complete darkness would be INSANE! Even if it’s not – a night ride on Hyperia is still pretty breathtaking – I managed to capture it on my Hyperia Launch Event Vlog.
On top of that, you obviously get to ride all the other rides in the park, The Swarm and Stealth are two of my ‘After Dark’ favourites!
