The Snowman – A metaphor for one night stands?

Yes I know that sounds wrong.. but bear with me.

I watched ‘The Snowman and the Snowdog’ last night and it got me thinking..

Is it a metaphor for a one night stand?

Think about it, the young man meets a wonderful mysterious character, they have a wonderful night together, dancing, and generally being happy. Then the morning comes, and all that is left from the night before is the memory of what happened, feelings of disappointment, and rather soggy white patch.
