So, after writing this post, the lovely folks at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have offered us the chance to be Blogger Ambassadors for 2016! I’ve worked with LEGOLAND Windsor for a good few years now, and it’s a pleasure to be one of the eight chosen to have a closer relationship with our friends in Windsor.
This means I’ll be able to give you the inside scoop on all the latest happenings and goings on across the resort! First ‘job’ on the list is a trip to the resort to get a look at a new attraction before it opens to the public, and that’s ‘The LEGO Movie 4D – A New Adventure” . The ‘4D’ Movie reunites characters from ‘The LEGO Movie’ and is a new journey for Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, Benny and MetalBeard after they receive a mysterious invitation leading them to a new theme park.
Not all is as it seems as the heroes are once again thrust into the middle of an evil secret plot, only this time, it will be up to the audience to use their Master Builder skills to help save them. Using elements such as wind, water, smoke and special lighting effects, the larger-than-life experience takes the film’s main characters, Emmet and Wyldstyle, and their friends on another awesome adventure.
As well as this, the popular Star Wars ‘Miniland’ display is getting a brand new ‘Death Star’ finale. The 2.5 metre wide and 3 metre tall Death Star has been built with over 500,000 bricks and gives in impressive ending to the popular attraction that has wowed guests since 2012. It’s great to see an existing attraction getting a bit of a refresh, and I can’t wait to see it.
